Belvedere, in rural Nindaroo, is set to break residential price records in the Mackay region, according to Ray White Whitsunday sales consultant Mark Beale.
“We have already fielded a few calls, from Melbourne and New Zealand,” he said.

Mr Murphy said his family had developed the expansive home over 2010-13, after knocking down an existing residence that they had lived in since 2004. The aim was to create a large resort-style family home on a single level that maximised the site’s panoramic views.
“The original place was a comfortable home but didn’t make the most of the aspect of the view,” Mr Murphy said.
“When we bought the property, we knew eventually we would rebuild. We wanted to live here for a while first and get the feel of it, then started planning for the new place.”
