Grotto Retreat Xiyaotou, China, by Studio Avoid
Located in the town of Xiyaotou in the Zhangjiakou prefecture, Studio Avoid developed Grotto Retreat Xiyaotou to reference a collection of conventional cavern houses in the location.
The cave-like pods take shape as a variety of interconnected, brick – dressed, vertical volumes each 0f which is topped with big skylights . A winding wood pathway on stilts weaves in between the pods linking to entryways on the first-floor level.

Casona Sforza, Mexico, by Alberto Kalach
Alberto Kalach created this hotel in the seaside town of Puerto Escondido, Mexico with a series of risen, brick arches neglecting a big circular pool .
The hotel, which is called Casona Sforza, includes arched volumes of differing heights set up asymmetrically. Its style intends to incorporate with the landscape and deal visitors peaceful areas for reflection.

Monastero Arx Vivendi, Italy, by Network of Architecture
Network of Architecture changed a previous Italian abbey into the Monastero Arx Vivendi hotel by maintaining and upgrading the interiors.
Located in Arco, near Lake Garda, the 17th-century complex was refurbished with a variety of typical spaces, 40 visitor suites and a purpose-built wellness location. The designers looked for to keep and save as much of the initial functions as possible, consisting of a seven-metre-tall border wall.

With architecture by Morris Adjmi and interiors by American designer Ken Fulk , music manufacturer Pharrell Williams’ Goodtime Hotel in Miami boasts a lively, clashing plan that intends to show the location’s famous art deco structures.
The hotel makes up 266 spaces plus 100,000 square feet of public area consisting of dining establishment and swimming pool club Strawberry Moon along with stores, a bar and a fitness center, all embellished with pastel shades and vibrant prints.

The Seeds, China, by ZJJZ Atelier
Ellipsoidal shingle-covered pods nestled in a forest location in Jiangxi, China form part of The Seeds hotel by Tree Wow hoteliers.
ZJJZ Atelier referenced nature in its style, utilizing natural types that would enhance the picturesque environments. Pine shingles line the outside of the pods around circular windows, while the underside of the pods was outfitted in glossy aluminium tiles.

Paradero Hotel, Mexico, by Ruben Valdez and Yashar Yektajo
Set on a 5.5-acre (2.2-hectare) plot in Todos Santos, a seaside town in southwest Mexico , Paradero Hotel was developed by designers Ruben Valdez and Yashar Yektajo. The complex was set up around a low-water garden taking hints from historical California objectives.
It is consisted of a series of beige-hued concrete structures meant to mix in with the landscape. Each volume includes visitor spaces with sweeping walls, passages and stairwells, while the interiors were managed by Guadalajara studio B Huber.

The Clifftops is a collection of 5 seaside vacation houses in Dorset, England that were developed by London-based studio Morrow + Lorraine .

Mexican practice PPAA developed Casa Octavia, a shop hotel in Mexico City based around style label Octavia, with the interiors envisioned as an extension of the brand name’s clothing.
PPAA covered the exterior of the hotel in a wood lattice that shades the interior and develops a fragile pattern of light. Neutral and soft tones were utilized throughout the interior offering visitors a tranquil environment in which to unwind.
