Microsoft Flight Simulator has launched for Xbox Series X|S, the company has announced.
From light planes to wide-body jets, you’ll test your piloting skills against the challenges of real-time weather including accurate wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, rain, and lightning. With the power of satellite data from Bing Maps and cloud-based AI using Azure, you’ll travel the entire planet with over 37 thousand airports, 2 million cities, 1.5 billion buildings, real mountain ranges, roads, trees, rivers, animals, traffic, and more.
The launch of Xbox Series X|S brings new features to the game on console as well as PC, including new Discovery Flights, world exploration improvements, more Flight Training, new Flight Assistance, and ability to land anywhere – water, snow, and so on.
The console version offers content parity with PC, including the previously released free World Updates (Japan, US, France, Benelux, UK & Ireland and the Nordics), free simulation updates, themed DLC bundles, and more.
Microsoft Flight Simulator was first released on Windows 10 last year.
